Our story

We are sisters who grew up in a home where music was always part of everyday life. Whether it was playing in the background while our family spent time together or something we explored ourselves through singing and instruments, music was always around us and became something we both naturally loved.

As we grew older, our paths began to reflect those interests in different ways. Patricia went on to work in early childhood education, developing a passion for teaching and supporting young learners, while Gabrielle pursued music and became a music teacher, learning and playing several instruments.

Over time, we realized that combining our passions for music and working with children felt like a natural fit. Together, we created First Notes Academy to introduce young children to the joy of music through movement, rhythm, and play in a warm and welcoming environment.

Our hope is to spark that same curiosity and love for music that has always been part of our lives.
